Let’s be honest—outdoor gear takes a beating. Rain, sleet, and humidity are brutal on electronics. That’s why we used an IP65 rating for these units. In plain English? They’re dust-tight and can handle a direct blast of water without flinching. While cheaper heaters often short out or burn through their elements after one bad season, these stay dry and keep running. We also used high-grade quartz glass for the elements. It’s tough stuff. It can handle the sudden jump from cold to blistering hot in a matter of seconds without cracking.

Cold customers leave. Warm customers order another round of drinks and stay for dessert. By setting up these “warm zones,” you’re basically telling your guests they can relax. But you do have to be smart about where you put them. Shortwave heat has a specific reach. Mount them too high, and the heat disappears before it hits the table. Mount them too low, and your guests will feel like they’re sitting too close to a campfire. We usually suggest a staggered grid—it’s the best way to make sure there are no “cold pockets” where people start shivering. One last tip: keep an eye on your power.
