Speed and the Data Side of Things
Carbon fiber heats up way faster than the metal alloys you’ll find in older gear. In a digitized line, that’s a massive win. It lets you actually see the thermal footprint of your wafer across the entire floor. If a zone drifts by even 2 degrees? The system catches it and fixes the power load before it becomes a problem. Dealing with the Heat
The physics here are pretty straightforward: carbon fiber just pushes out more infrared energy. You get more heat hitting the part and less of it leaking out and warming up your cleanroom. But there’s a catch. All that concentrated energy puts a lot of pressure on your hardware. You can’t cut corners on the reflectors. They need to be polished to a mirror finish, or the housing will start to warp under the load. It’s a “do it right the first time” kind of situation.
Scaling Without the Headache

When you use the same wattage and voltage across all your zones, you don’t have to keep a mountain of different spare parts in the warehouse. Plus, the output stays steady. That’s the only way data-driven production actually works in the real world.
