It fits into those tight spots above mirrors and fixtures, and it concentrates the heat for a rapid warm-up. But here’s the thing. That kind of concentrated power needs proper breathing room. The fixture housing the heater has to be able to handle the heat, or you’ll shorten the life of the components. We design for this, but the on-site installer needs to make sure the fixture matches the heater. It’s a team effort.
The Heart of the Heater
Inside, you’ve got a halogen-filled quartz tube. It’s the core of the whole operation. The halogen cycle keeps the element clean, so you get consistent heat output month after month. And the quartz itself? It shrugs off the stress of rapid on-off cycling. It’s tough. Then there’s the connector—the R7s. It’s a two-pin ceramic base, built to take the heat. It gives you a solid, reliable connection that won’t wiggle loose. And because it’s a standard interface, swapping out a unit in the field is a simple, drop-in job. We also seal the joint with high-temp gaskets to keep moisture where it belongs: out.
